School Building Development
In order to enable the children to have a positive school life experience and to improve their attendance in schools, it is necessary to ensure that there are adequate building facilities for the children’s education. Our approach to school development is based on the Model School Concept.
We take into the account the overall requirements of a school from the availability of safe drinking water, adequate classrooms, canteen, sanitation, environmental management and other teaching facilities including vegetable gardens.
Our other primary reason for such a holistic approach to the deeper development of educational facilities in selected schools is to encourage similar development in other schools. We also actively source the use of local contractors in order to support the local community and are involved in the design of such facilities in order to standardise construction to a high standard, improve the utilitarian functions and to reduce the cost of construction.
We require schools to teach the children about environmental conservation including the 3Rs being Refuse, Reuse and Recycle. The schools are required to agree to maintain cleanliness, reduce waste generation from items sold in the canteens with children educated on safe and healthy foods.

In the course of providing safe drinking water to students, we encountered several schools with classrooms which were too dilapidated to be repaired. These are a few of the classrooms which we replaced.

The Transformation of Schools
With careful planning and the cooperation of school staff and students, we have been able to successfully transform schools to be inspiring and happy places of learning.
