Where Compassion Meets Action

Dorothy & Andrew’s visit to Cambodia

In July, Dorothy and Andrew from the LUFF Foundation traveled to Cambodia to see firsthand how their support is transforming lives. While Dorothy was returning to familiar ground, it was Andrew’s first time visiting KCCO's local projects. Together, they toured supported schools, spent time with students and scholarship recipients, and met with local families receiving assistance.

Compassion in Action

One memorable moment was their journey along a flooded, muddy road to visit a family whose home was built with LUFF support. Deeply touched by their living conditions, Dorothy immediately suggested practical ways to improve their lives, including better rainwater collection, more living space and future work opportunities for the husband.

From visiting schools to meeting scholarship students, Dorothy and Andrew showed a keen interest in how projects could make a lasting difference.

Meeting the scholarship students was another highlight. Dorothy and Andrew were particularly impressed by Sok Liza, who confidently shared her inspiring life journey.

For Dorothy, compassion is not simply about giving. It is about seeing, listening, understanding and taking action.

Their visit reflected the true meaning of compassion, not just giving, but finding ways to make lives better.
